▏Part-time job

International students may work part-time for up to 28 hours per week.
During the school holidays, students may work up to 8 hours per day, but must provide proof of work issued by the school to the employer.

If you want to work part-time, you will need to obtain permission to engage in an activity other than that permitted by your visa.
This can be obtained on the spot by submitting an application form prescribed by the Immigration Bureau.
However, you are not allowed to do any work that is undesirable for an international student or to do excessive work.
